Mission Statement and Core Values
- Mission Statement:
- BHCC Men’s Ministry values men not only as a creation of God but also as fellow brothers in a daily struggle in a sin-plagued world. We are devoted to the witness, discipleship, encouragement, and accountability of men as taught by Scripture.
- Core Values:
- We will use both our voice and our actions to be a witness to men and others around us of the love of God. Sharing with them that Jesus, the perfect Son of God, came to earth to die for our sins and on the third day He rose from the grave and now sits on the right hand of God the Father. Matthew 5:16 & Mark 16:15
- We will teach men how to study and learn from the Bible and how to both be disciples as well as learn to disciple others. Training men to be Godly men in their home, their church, their neighborhood, and their workplace. Matthew 28:18-20 & Ephesians 4:11-16
- We will encourage men by showing them the same love and grace that God has given to us. This will include being authentic with each other and not being self-righteous. John 13:34-35 & Romans 15:1-7
- We will hold our men accountable for their actions just as iron sharpens iron. Always acting in love and grace but never with an attitude to beat a brother down but instead an attitude to bring him back to God. I will accept correction, given in love, from a brother. Proverbs 27:6 & Proverbs 27:17
